Programming Overview
The National Loon Center (NLC) provides a wide range of educational travel programs tailored for audiences of all ages. Whether in a classroom, at a community event, or online, our programs bring the iconic “up north” experience directly to you.
Participants will learn about the loon’s distinctive calls, its specialized habitat requirements, and its fascinating natural history. They will also explore the long-standing relationship between humans and this ancient species—and discover the actions we can all take to support loon conservation in Minnesota and beyond.
